Some new shots of the the Big A

So the last week  or so has been devoted to getting the back done(but its not) and I started on the ac20, thanx to some help from Sparks Murphey on the MWO forums. He was able to provide me with some great shots of the gun.

I also began the head and let me tell you that is pretty much the hardest thing I have ever tried to model. The shape, the eyes and just all of it really. This is where it is now and I really hope I dont screw it up because I dont want to do it again.

And here of course is a size comparison shot with the original Atlas model. Its turning out a little bigger than I thought it would but damn it looks so much cooler.

Everything you see is held together with sticky tack putty, it all comes apart for any future casting attempts.

More to come, all.

Mr. Atlas, your pants are ready

Heres a couple of test shots on the leg assembly.

As you can see a little more tweeking and detail  is needed. The knee joint has some movement for walking poses and the hips are ball joints for a wider stance.
I think however that I may have put the ball socket in the wrong place as the  hips
seem way to high above legs.

Oh and torso is started.  more to come.

Hatchetman

Max O'conner( the original builder) recently reminded me I had this bit stored away. He started it years ago and I always wanted to see it finished. I had some time so he sent it to me.
I tweeked to torso and arms. Re-did the groin and finished the legs. Then I put it in a drawer and forgot about it. I suck.
Well here it sees the light again. Not a perfect copy of the mini but definitely recognizable as the Hatchetman Id say.

Should it be kitted? When I asked around the net years ago there wasnt much of a response, hence its solitary confinement.

Not a bad match for size either considering I was basically eyeballing everything.
